FRUIT: 35 peaches
SOURCE: farmer’s market, I bought a half-bushel crate (45 peaches this time) for $27
RECIPE: peel, the peaches and cut into slices, hot pack and cover with syrup (3:1 water:sugar ratio), process for 20 minutes
YIELD: 9 quarts
TASTE: yummy and not too sweet
NOTES: I used some of the syrup from last week — I just boiled it for 10 minutes to sterilize.
