Garlic Scape Basil Pesto

Making Pesto

DATE: 06/29/2010
FRUIT: 2 bunches of garlic scapes plus 8 more, 2 bunches of basil
SOURCE: all but one bunch of the basil and 8 scapes was from our CSA share, the rest was purchased from the CSA farm
COST: $4.00
RECIPE: in the food processor, finely chop the garlic scapes, add the basil and chop, drizzle in olive oil until you achieve the consistency you are looking for
YIELD: 5 half-cup containers
TASTE: yummy

    So you don’t add in any parm cheese to yours?
